Serum fibrinogen
Name fibrinogen_gprd
Chapter Diseases of the blood/Coagulation tests
Definition
Fibrinogen level in GPRD, in units of g/L. Where the units are g/dL, the distribution is consistent with the correct units being g/L. If the units are mg/dL, the value is divided by 100.

If units are missing, the value is almost always zero.

Values are usually in the range 2 to 8 g/L; we consider any value greater than or equal to 50 to be erroneous.
